Deleted under WP:V and immediately replaced with a totally inappropriate redirect!?

An AfD on this title resulted in the deletion of a "list" page under WP:V. Which is probably OK. But to replace it with a TOTALLY bogus redirect to the "US National Monuments" article is quite inappropriate. What about the national monuments in the other 190 odd countries in the world?
